Deputy Editor of The Gulf Today R. Ramesh received the Aster Volunteers appreciation award on behalf of the newspaper. The event, Shukran, a thanksgiving programme, was organised by Aster DM Healthcare on May 12, to recognise external volunteers, government oficials and a few good souls who had supported it in conducting various CSR initiatives under the banner “Aster Volunteers.” The programme benefited a lot of people, especially in the GCC, India and Philippines.

Aster Volunteers seeks to bridge the gap between people who would like to help with those in need, across the nine regions that the company operates in through a web portal platform www. astervolunteers.com. The multi-layered initiative was launched in early part 2017 and targets communities and aims to address key challenges that will help make a positive difference in society.
