‘Our strat­egy is to main­tain progress and achieve­ments at a rapid pace’

DUBAI: Vice-pres­i­dent and Prime Min­is­ter of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His High­ness Sheikh Mo­hammed Bin Rashid Al Mak­toum said, in an in­ter­view with CNN, “the re­gional sit­u­a­tion for us is a chal­lenge. We have to ac­cept it and face it.”

Sheikh Mo­hammed said, “the cur­rent strat­egy is to main­tain our su­pe­ri­or­ity and our progress and achieve­ments at a rapid pace.”

In re­sponse to a ques­tion from CNN about the de­sire to copy the Emi­rates model, which has achieved ex­cep­tional growth, the Vice Pres­i­dent said, “wel­come to those who want to ben­e­fit from our ex­pe­ri­ence and our com­pe­ti­tion.”

“When talk­ing about com­pe­ti­tion in the avi­a­tion sec­tor, it is clear that the Emi­rates air­line and Dubai Air­ports are un­der very high per­for­mance rates and con­tinue to re­ceive in­creas­ing num­bers of vis­i­tors.”
