Beit Al Khair dis­trib­utes 48,000 milk packs

DUBAI: “Beit Al Khair” So­ci­ety has dis­trib­uted 48,000 packs of long life milk, contributed by Al Rawabi Com­pany, to el­i­gi­ble peo­ple in the emi­rate of Ajman.

The promis­ing scheme was car­ried out in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the “UAE Food Bank” Ini­tia­tive launched by His High­ness Sheikh Mo­hammed Bin Rashid Al Mak­toum, Vice-pres­i­dent and Prime Min­is­ter of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to mark the “Year of Giv­ing.”

The same has been di­rected by Her High­ness Sheikha Hind Bint Juma Al Mak­toum, Chair­per­son of the Bank board of trustees, who has rec­om­mended the dis­tri­bu­tion of the food fac­to­ries’ sur­plus prod­ucts that are do­nated to the bank to vul­ner­a­ble peo­ple.

The ield team, in charge of dis­tribut­ing food aids in the So­ci­ety, in­vited the el­i­gi­ble peo­ple to col­lect the milk packs at cer­tain venues in the emi­rate of Ajman dur­ing the last week­end.

Ali Dad Al Balooshi, Field Team Leader, said they dis­trib­uted the milk packs in a smooth and or­gan­ised way. Two truck box ve­hi­cles of Al Rawabi Com­pany, car­ry­ing 24,000 packs each, ar­rived at the scene, fol­low­ing which pack­ets of milk, 4kg each, were dis­trib­uted to the needy peo­ple in­vited.

The char­i­ta­ble ac­tiv­ity is part of “Beit Al Khair” pas­sion to pro­vide low-in­come peo­ple with needed food prod­ucts.

The So­ci­ety, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the “Emi­rates Is­lamic Bank”, has re­cently dis­trib­uted 55,000 meals to thou­sands of work­ers at their work sites in the emi­rates of Dubai and Ajman.
