Mak­toum Foun­da­tion helps Egypt

DUBAI: The Al Mak­toum Foun­da­tion will con­tinue its “Char­i­ta­ble Hearts” cam­paign this year af­ter clos­ing 2017 with the in­au­gu­ra­tion of the “Sheikh Ham­dan Bin Rashid Study Hall” at the Fac­ulty of En­gi­neer­ing in Minia Univer­sity.

This was done af­ter restor­ing and equip­ping the study hall with var­i­ous teach­ing tools and study ma­te­ri­als, one of 20 class­rooms due to un­dergo an over­haul by the foun­da­tion this aca­demic term.

The Pres­i­dent of Minia Univer­sity, Dr Ga­mal El-magd, ex­pressed his ap­pre­ci­a­tion to Sheikh Ham­dan Bin Rashid Al Mak­toum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, for his sup­port to schools and univer­si­ties in Egypt and in other coun­tries.

Dr El-magd also ex­tended an in­vite to Sheikh Ham­dan to visit the Minya Gover­norate in Up­per Egypt and re­view the re­sults of his ex­ten­sive ef­forts in the re­gion.

Mirza Al Sayegh, Di­rec­tor of Sheikh Ham­dan Bin Rashid Al Mak­toum’s OFICE AND BOARD MEM­BER of THE Al Mak­toum Foun­da­tion, said, “Sheikh Ham­dan Bin Rashid has di­rected the foun­da­tion to in­ten­sify its ac­tiv­i­ties in Egypt dur­ing the “Year of Zayed” in 2018, RELECTING THE late SHEIKH ZAYED’S love for the coun­try.”
