The Shamsah Troisors was created in collaboration with Sara Bran, a “dentellière sur” or gold lacemaker, and was inspired by the iconography of Islamic Art. Bran spent 30 hours completing the drawing itself, while the handcra ed lacemaking process took more than
200 hours. A team of jewellers then spent a further 100 hours bringing Bran’s creation to life, which involved crimping 16 pear-shaped diamonds into the 0.5mm-wide gold lace design that features on the exterior of the piece. The computer is plated in 24K pale gold, which was also used for the decorative bar. Palm rests are made of ivory-coloured alligator leather. All of the company’s computers come with a twoyear warranty and two year’s access to the global concierge
service, UUU. Having been on show at the Mashreq VIP Lounge during Art Dubai, the Shamsah Troisors is now on sale at Cottin’s newly opened shop in Dubai’s Emirates Tower.
