Fe­male artists tackle war and its con­se­quences

This ex­hi­bi­tion re­flects on de­stroyed and im­pov­er­ished land­scapes and loot­ing dur­ing war and con­flict. Twenty eight pieces from 13 fe­male artists from coun­tries such as Afghanistan, the UAE, Le­banon and Morocco are on dis­play. The works in­clude sculp­tures, in­stal­la­tions, videos, pho­to­graphs, books and graphic nov­els. One of the artists, Ta­mara Ab­dul Hadi, was born to Iraqi par­ents in the UAE and her work tack­les so­cial in­jus­tice and the de­con­struc­tion of stereo­types.
