EASTWOOD DIRECTS REAL HEROES’ TALE
LOS ANGELES // Clint Eastwood will direct a film based on the story of three Americans who stopped a terrorist plot on a train bound for Paris. The project will be based on the event as told by Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos and Spencer Stone. In August 2015, the three foiled a gunman who had boarded a train from Amsterdam to Paris with enough ammunition to kill 500 people. They overpowered a 25-year-old Moroccan after he came out of a toilet with a gun. The three were honoured in France and regarded as heroes in the US.
