The Conservatives have opened up an 18-point lead over Labour, according to an Ipsos Mori poll for The Times. They are on 47%, their highest rating since 2009. Labour is on 29%.

Labour would fare even worse if there were a new “Stop Brexit” party, a YouGov poll for The Independent has found. 26% of people say they would vote for such a party, pushing Labour into third place with 19%; the Tories would be on 34%. 46% of UKIP members think the intelligence services have been trying to undermine the party. 55% think some UKIP members have been “planted” by the Tories to discredit the party. 66% have previously voted Tory in a general election; 24% have voted Labour.
