64% of women aged 18 to 24 think that wolf-whistling is a form of sex­ual ha­rass­ment – but only 15% of women aged 55 or over agree. 28% of 18- to 24-year-old women think a man com­ment­ing on how at­trac­tive a wo­man is counts as ha­rass­ment, com­pared with 11% of over-55s. 57% of all women con­sider look­ing at a wo­man’s chest to be ha­rass­ment, as do 43% of men. YouGov 49% of teenagers say they have con­tacted some­one by email or text mes­sage while in the same room as them. 26% of adults have done the same thing. Just 15% of 16- to 24-year-olds think that phone calls are the most im­por­tant method of elec­tronic com­mu­ni­ca­tion. Ofcom/The Sun­day Times
