A day at the polo
Richard Mille honours its partnership with the Polo Club Saint-tropez.
Richard Mille recently launched two new limited edition timepieces to honour its collaboration with the Polo Club SaintTropez. The partnership has been going for three years, so to celebrate this, the brand has announced the Ladies RM 07-01 Polo Club Saint-tropez and the RM 029 Polo Club Saint-tropez.
The RM 07-01 is the first ladies timepiece to feature in the Saint-tropez collection. In white ceramic, the timepiece will be limited to just 30 models. Along with the ceramic case, it features white crown rubber with a lapis lazuli dial and matching blue rehaut. Richard Mille says that the colours echo the colours of the French Riviera.
At the heart of the RM 07-01 is the inhouse-designed calibre CRMA2, a highly skeletonised automatic movement that provides the perfect synergy between perfor- mance and capability, giving the RM 07-01 a power reserve of around 50 hours.
The RM 029 Polo Club Saint-tropez is a limited edition of 50 pieces and embodies a black ceramic front and back case with a casband of the light-weight material, NTPT carbon. The upper and lower rehaut is white and blue to reflect the colours of the Polo Club and features the club logo on the back glass. At 48 mm, and with a classic tonneau shape and curved case, the watch will fit on any wrist. The automatic calibre RMAS7 with oversized date mechanism and variable rotor geometry make the RM 029 the perfect companion for a day at the polo.
“We are proud to be the official timekeeper of the Polo Club Saint-tropez and excited to release these two new editions into the Richard Mille collection,” said Peter Harrison, CEO Richard Mille EMEA.
