Where we stayed
Situated right on the edge of the Etosha Pan, which is an old, dried up lake, Onkoshi boasts uninterrupted views to the horizon, thanks to the flat lakebed.
But even better is the fact you can enjoy the view from your bed, thanks to every room facing the Pan. There’s even an outdoor shower, so you can really let your hair down.
The tent-style rooms are all built on stilts and are stunning inside, with four-poster beds, claw feet baths and natural light. The main building has a small pool, a bar and restaurant, and that’s all, so this is certainly not somewhere for kids. It’s for that perfect honeymoon or romantic escape. Bliss.
