VIRTUOZITY’S CLUB LIMITADA recently descended upon the Social Room at the Intercontinental Dubai Marina, home of some of the city’s trendiest locales. On the menu for the evening was a couple of fabulous Cuban cigars, and a selection of Portthemed drinks with which to pair them. And, befitting the name Marina Social, the venue provided ample opportunity for a social evening of great conversation.

Mood lighting, modern furnishings and top-of-the-line DJS have made this bar into a Dubai hot spot. As a result, the heavy notes of cream, honey, leather and nuts simply melt in the mouth, leaving an impression for hours after the nub has been extinguished.

The second stick of the evening was the Saint Luis Rey Coronas, which was actually discontinued in 2010. Nevertheless, there are still plenty knocking about, and what’s more, they’ve all aged extremely nicely by this point. A complex smoke, the ageing process reveals the potential that many
