VIPS DESCEND ON ABU DHABI FOR THE LAUNCH OF FINE INDIANEATERY TAMBA
LAST MONTH SAW THE launch of Tamba, a new Indian-inspired restaurant at the World Trade Centre in Abu Dhabi. The launch party attracted an eclectic mix of socialites, VIPS and media, who descended on the UAE’S capital to sample the new restaurants contemporary flavours and modern atmosphere.
Tamba’s sleek, loft-style interior is embellished with decorative layered screens setting the scene for mystery and intrigue. Floor-to-ceiling windows beautifully frame the Abu Dhabi skyline. Upon entry, the eye is drawn to the bar, located at the front of the restaurant, before taking in the elevated show kitchen with an integrated Chef’s table and exposed Tandoor ovens.
An eclectic grazing menu reflects a commitment to quality ingredients and showcases an impressive variety of ingeniously executed dishes. Passion and culinary creativity are evident throughout, with some highlight dishes including; soft shell crab pakora; khichdi of mushroom and truffle with raspberry pickle; sweet and sour pumpkin and spinach paratha; and masala rub wagyu with chili chutney.
