Samsung recently launched its latest line-up of SUHD TVS at a media event held at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.

According to the brand, the 2016 SUHD TVS offer unparalleled picture quality, featuring Quantum dot display, the world’s first bezel-less curved design and the smartest user interface to deliver a state-of-the-art hub for home entertainment content.

Quantum dots are nano-sized crystals made of semiconductor materials. With over 150 patents on the technology, Samsung is currently the only company that produces cadmium-free quantum dot displays. Giving off pure colors, the technology ensures that primary colors can be more clearly distinguished in comparison to conventional TVS. Each quantum dot shows precise colors while the light from conventional displays mixes with adjacent colors.

Regardless of the lighting environment, the SUHD TVS deliver the optimum viewing experience, with the 1,000 nit high dynamic range (HDR) offering an extraordinary level of contrast between light and dark images. The Ultra Black technology also significantly reduces light reflection, further enhancing picture quality with minimal glare. Inspired by nature, Ultra Black absorbs natural light the same way that a moth’s eye enables it to see better at night.

No. 9, the leather collection inspired by the façade of Paul Smith’s Mayfair shop at No. 9, Albemarle Street, London, has evolved with new styles and colours for autumn/winter 2016.

The shop facade reinterprets the design language of the eighteenthcentury Georgian townhouse beneath. The repeating elliptical motif of interlocking circles, rendered in cast iron, nods to ornamental Regency forms, creating a delicate, modernist pattern from a subversively heavyweight material.

The cast-iron frontage firmly locates No. 9, Albemarle Street within its Mayfair surroundings, mirroring the area’s char- Lacoste has unveiled a new line of trendy lace-up shoes, which the brand says will help Middle East buyers survive the summer heat while looking good.

The Lacoste Marice Lace-up shoes are inspired by the Riviera style with nautical influences. The boat shoe is a contemporary take on the classic espadrille with the iconic crocodile print on the upper.

Designed in fine quality canvas with white soles, the laid back slip on will inject a statement style into any outfit. According to the brand, all you need to do is pair the shoes up with a solid color T-shirt and denim shorts for the perfect summer look. G-shock and Hawaiian-based boardsport and lifestyle brand In4mation have teamed up for a seventh installment collaboration watch—the Milestones Timepiece or GAX100X-4A.

This limited edition watch offers a new design that merges the inherent toughness and technology of G-SHOCK with a deep color aesthetic that represents the active island style.

Symbolising the long-standing partnership between G-shock and In4mation, the new Milestones Timepiece features sea-foam blue highlights, a nod to the first G-shock and In4mation GLX watch collaboration. The deep orange color within the resin band complements the sea-foam blue, and resonates as a symbol of status, style, and confidence.

In line with the Hawaiian culture of surfing and other watersports, the GAX100X4A features 200-metre water resistance, tide indicator and moon graph for tracking the next big wave.

"After six collaborations with G-shock, the seventh Milestones Timepiece truly embodies the years of commitment and determination both brands have dedicated to this successful partnership," said Jun Jo, Marketing Director of In4mation. "We are proud to continue this journey and build upon our legacy with G-shock."

Tudor has announced the Heritage Black Bay 36 model, which retains the general lines of the Black Bay family of watches while reducing its proportions.

With its 36 mm diameter, the steel case is particularly versatile. It acts both as an introduction to the Black Bay aesthetic for slimmer wrists and as a more formal option while remaining part of a family of essentially sporty watches.

Like other models in the Black Bay family, Black Bay 36 features a dial inspired by the Tudor divers' watches produced during the 1950s. It borrows the characteristic angular hands known to collectors as snowflake that appeared in the brand's 1969 catalogue. A fixed smooth steel bezel and a shiny black polished dial act as the finishing touches to this sport chic Black Bay.

With a choice of a steel bracelet or a lightly distressed beige-coloured leather strap with steel folding clasp, each Heritage Black Bay 36 is also supplied with an additional strap in urban camouflage fabric. Made in the Jacquard technique according to traditional methods by a hundred-year-old family business from the St-etienne region of France, this strap is a signature feature of Tudor’s Heritage line.
