What lies beneath
THE JAGUAR XF SUPERCHARGED IS NOW A FIRM CONTENDER IN THE LUXURY SALOON MARKET, BUT STILL OFFERS A TOUCH OF THAT COOL BRITANNIA JUST UNDER THE SURFACE. VIRTUOZITY DRIVES IT IN THE UK TO GET UNDER ITS FLOWING SKIN
Jaguar has always provided the world with exciting cars, from the S-type, which was so loved by London’s villains and police, through to the glorious XJS coupe, which played such an elegant supporting role to Roger Moore’s Saint. Gone was the stuffy disguise, gone was the soft suspension that had slowly seeped into the brand during the ‘eighties and ‘nineties. This was bang up to date and the gear selector was simply a nod to modernity, despite its timeless attraction.
