ALL THE ACTION FROM CLOSING NIGHT AT THE 60TH BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL
THE EUROPEAN PREMIERE OF Ben Wheatley’s high-octane Free Fire last month closed the 60th BFI London Film Festival. Free Fire is Wheatley’s third film to be presented at the festival, following High-rise (2015), which screened as a Festival Gala, and Sightseers (2012), which screened as a Laugh Gala. The stars of the film, including Brie Larson and Cillian Murphy, walked the red carpet ahead of its screening as the final film of the festival. The BFI London Film Festival is Britain’s leading film event and one of the world’s best and most established film festivals. This year’s programme saw Headline Galas presented at the Odeon Leicester Square on each evening of the 12-day event.
