BOVET INTRODUCES A HIS AND HER COLLECTION FOR VALENTINE’S DAY
BOVET HAS LAUNCHED TWO timepieces especially for Valentine’s Day, for ladies there is the Amadeo Fleurier ‘Miss Audrey’ and for men the ‘19Thirty Fleurier’, both presented in stainless steel and featuring a blue dial.
The 19Thirty collection has taken inspiration from a 1930’s Bovel easel chronometer, one of the last pocket watches to be manufactured by the company before wristwatches became widespread. Powered by an in-house caliber developed specifically for this collection, collectors can choose from 3 dials: blue circular brushed, black circular brushed or ivory polished lacquered. There are also three types of numerals: Arabic, Chinese or Roman.
Housed in the signature Fleurier case with its distinctive crown and bow at 12 o’clock, the watch draws its energy from a single barrel, with this hand-wound mechanical movement ensuring a seven-day power reserve.
The Miss Audrey features a convertible system that allows the watch to sit on the wrist, be worn as a pendant or even be used as a table clock - all of which can be achieved without the use of any tools.
Despite its thinness, it is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement and showcases a deep vibrant midnight blue dial - which was once again handcrafted by the artisans at the Bovet 1822 Manufacture de Cadrans.
