LG Electronics are currently leading the way when it comes to next generation televisions and their newest release, the W7 OLED is their most advanced to date. It is also the thinnest TV on the market, with the 77” screen measuring in at 3.85mm deep which includes the wall mount.

Debuted at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, the screen features 4k resolution with pixels that create their own light and can switch off to achieve truly perfect black levels with zero light bleed. LG also stated that their OLEDS are even better in 2017 with 25 percent higher peak brightness and better color (99 percent of the DCI color space).

The “wallpaper” design does mean that the TV has to be wall-mounted but it sits flush to the wall, with a ribbon-thin cable - that is up to 82 inches long - connecting it to the accompanying sound-bar which features HDMI and other inputs. The TV is also the first of its kind to offer Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
