Taste Of Abu Dhabi returns, with food trucks, cooking demos and music from former Spandau Ballet lead singer Tony Hadley

Time really does fly if you’re a foodie living in the capital. Taste Of Abu Dhabi has now been running for four years, and for this year’s three-day event, the food and music festival is returning to Yas Island’s du Arena, where it all began back in 2014 (last year it was on at Zayed Sports City).

So what can you expect this time around? Live music, cookery workshops, celebrity chefs, market stalls and food – lots and lots of food. Once again, a selection of the city’s restaurants will be selling bite-sized portions of their most popular dishes (there’s more than 75 dishes in total for you to try) and the tunes are supplied by former Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley. He’ll be performing some of his solo hits as well as classic Ballet songs including Gold. Here’s our guide to the weekend.
