The ziplines
We reach zip line number one – a 50m-long wire about 80m-high, at the top of a vertical stretch. Heart thumping we leap off the edge zooming straight for the splat pad on the other side. Exhilarated, we’re practically begging to journey on. A gradual slope then leads to the 60m zip-line before another path leads you to a ladder, which you need to climb up to get to the almighty 300m-long beast. It takes a few seconds to pluck up the courage for this one as you can barely see where it ends. Once you make the leap of faith you’ll experience an unbelievable rush as you fly through the air. So there it is. Ras Al Khaimah’s first proper outdoor adventure tour offering enthusiasts a chance to access the same high as rock climbers, without the same rigorous training or nerve-shredding risk. It’s a brilliant adventure that combines the accessible with the extreme, and one we’ll be returning to,
that’s for sure.
