Try a new fitness class that promises to burn a whole lot of calories

Anew high-energy fitness class from the US has landed in Dubai – OrangeTheory Fitness hosts an hour-long, heart-rate based intervals session that the organisers claims will leave you burning extra calories after it’s finished.
Expect a workout combining endurance and strength using a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowing machines, TRX suspension training and free weights.
The class is a scientifically designed workout that is based around five heart rate zones, with the orange zone being your maximum heart rate. If you can spend around 12 to 20 minutes in the orange zone during a session, you’ll experience what is called the afterburn effect by fitness experts – your body will continue to burn an additional 500 to 1,000 calories for the 36 hours that follow the workout.
