TO-DO LIST:
PORTO MONTENEGRO
Hugely popular with the Euro-yachting set, this unashamedly upmarket marina development has become a big part of Montenegro’s draw in recent years. One of the few ports in Europe that can play host to enormous gigayachts, this formal naval base has undergone a stunning renaissance, with crew facilities that are open year-round, and a local airport welcoming private jets, merely adding to its appeal for a certain type of person.
Top Tip: You don’t need to spend a fortune to soak up the Porto Montenegro atmosphere. Mere metres from the main hotel complex you’ll find a host of eateries that won’t (entirely) break the bank. Grab an outside table at Al Posto Giusto, a chic and stylish restaurant serving very good pizzas, for some of the best people watching opportunities on offer.
