Space-age Nis­san to reach 300kph

How does a

300kph Nis­san sound to you? Pretty good we bet. And from the looks of its up­com­ing all-elec­tric rac­ing car, the ZEOD RC (Zero Emis­sion On De­mand Rac­ing Car) is go­ing to take the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans by storm. Nis­san is keep­ing quiet on the ZEOD RC’s pow­er­train or how it’ll make it last for the full 24-hour race. A reg­u­lar petrol engine and Lithium-ion bat­tery tech­nol­ogy seem likely. It will team up with Miche­lin to pro­duce tyres for the new space-age pro­to­type, which is set to make its test­ing de­but later this sum­mer.
