Family business first
Working for a family business is far more challenging than having any other kind of job. Most often, the expectations are higher and the work hours longer. And just when you get the hang of it, some turbulent market change comes along that requires you to reform your work flow. Rebranding your family business ( Apr 15) was an interesting article that highlighted points all managers should keep in mind. It is essential, for starters, to keep employees happy because they can make or break your business. But I believe the most important thing is being open to the idea of change. It truly is a constant, and the faster we realise this, the better.
