Both established as well as emerging women leaders in the region will share personal anecdotes about their journey to the top and offer tips to overcome daily hurdles at work.

A touch of Spain

Spain enjoys the reputation of being a hub of latest fashion trends. Raising a toast to this legacy, Global Village’s Spain pavilion will feature premium works — from exquisite jewellery to hand- stitched shoes. Some of Spain’s leading fashion entrepreneurs will also be present at the venue.

The No 1 item on your wish list. To make A- TONE an international phenomenon, that makes having a fit lifestyle accessible to all.

If you could move to any place in the world, what place would that be? Spain. Everything — from the culture to the language — makes it such a beautiful place to be in!

The biggest l earning point or experience in your life. The initial months when I was trying to launch my studio. It was s o much f un drafting i deas, brainstorming, and imagining our finished product — but the actual execution brought to light so many little requirements, needs and subtle nuances I hadn’t even realised were important. No matter how much literature you read about entrepreneurship in any market, it’s really a whole other ball game to begin your journey in a competitive region like ours.

If you won a million bucks tomorrow, what would you do with the money? I have a wish list of things I want to do for myself, my family, the studio, and charitable organisations. I would use that money to secure the future for myself, my family and those around me.

What advice would you give your younger self, if you could? I would tell myself that ‘ fear of the unknown’ i s a banal concept. There i s a saying t hat goes, ‘ familiarity breeds contempt’, and both these statements prove how fickle human understanding and sensibilities can be. So, I have a saying of my own liking that goes ‘ Beyond fear lies freedom’ — and that is my newest tattoo.
