READER’S BOOKSHELF ‘ Every book has to be read at a special time’

Which books are you reading right now? I have been curious about Karan Johar’s An Unsuitable Boy, and so this is the latest addition to my collection. I keep going back to Synchrodestiny by Deepak Chopra. It teaches you everything happens for a reason. It's not as well known as The Secret, but is as powerful when it comes to understanding the importance of living in a constant state of awareness. Reading is not about picking up any book. Every book has to be read at a special time and place.

A book that shaped your outlook? My mother gave me

Managing Director, Verve

Dale Carnegie’s How to Stop Worrying and Start Living. It is about overcoming fears to deal with situations. I swear by it.

Your favourite quote? My personal favourite is from The Alchemist: “It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.”
