REFLECT360

Our first impressions of the Reflect360 from Proviz were bleak, with an unflattering shape and patented reflective technology that covers mostly the top rather than the sides, where it’d be most useful. Additionally the chin clip just seemed intuitively wrong, with the way the straps are threaded meaning that they end up twisted when you do it up. Why go for a complicated multi-setting clip that doesn’t offer any benefits over a traditional buckle? Nevertheless, the helmet grew on us after a few weeks’ commuting, and the padding inside is very comfortable. There’s no MIPS technology, which is fast becoming the gold standard for skull protection, and for a safety-focused helmet we found this surprising. The back LED lights concealed inside the adjustment dial are so small they’re almost pointless, but it’s another minor feature to justify the £80 price tag.
