CLUB FEEL

As an ex-soldier who enjoyed the ‘club’ feel of the military environment, I’ve struggled to find anything to replicate this since leaving the military in 2011.

I play golf as well as cycle and hoped to find the missing camaraderie from local clubs, but sadly this wasn’t the case.

After this year’s Prudential Ride London I decided to look at Portsmouth Triathletes and enter the world of multi-discipline events. I couldn’t have been happier with not only the friendly welcome and advice but the inclusive attitude from everybody and the fantastic support.

I can safely say I’ve found my replacement and would say to anyone who’s considering joining a tri club, go for it. The tri family is welcoming and extremely friendly. Dave Boltwood
