Keep the ses­sion the same but, af­ter the hill reps, make the mod­er­ate ef­fort 60mins at IM race pace. If you’re weak on the climbs or strug­gling with strength, a great work­out is to cut the ef­forts to x 5 then ride 20mins at a mod­er­ate pace be­fore re­peat­ing an­other set of the hill reps.
