3D Artist - - THE PIPELINE -

When painting a displacement map, most people will use it as is straight from the software to the rendering engine. Most of the time you will pass it through Zbrush to control the places that require less displacement and also to add some more details. This is because you can only use that map two or three times before people start noticing that you’re using the same texture all the time and your characters will have different ages and different skin normally, so you would want that personal touch to your displacement to look more natural and unique.
