Face­book re­cently launched gltf 2.0 sup­port to en­able con­tent de­vel­op­ers to cre­ate and share 3d ob­jects and Vr con­tent to their news feeds. with gltf 2.0 com­pli­ance comes sup­port for tex­tures, light­ing and re­al­is­tic ren­der­ing tech­niques.

the new part­ner­ship be­tween Foundry and Face­book has led to a custom work­flow for Modo artists to eas­ily ex­port Face­book-ready 3d con­tent and in­cludes shader sup­port.
