ACCRINGTON CATENIANS

IN mid-February Accrington Catenian Circle held a Charity Folk Night in aid of president Neil Goodall’s chosen charity, North West Blood Bikes.

The event was held at the Peel Park Hotel, Accrington and the entertainment was by ‘Trouble at t’Mill’.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening with much audience participation.

Following a traditional pie and peas supper, those assembled were able to try their luck in a super raffle.

The event raised almost £650.

At the March Circle Meeting, George Korol from the Blood Bikes was a guest of the Circle and gave a detailed account of their work, which is all voluntary.
