Accrington Observer - - YOUR VIEWS -

I AM delighted to nominate Emma Gilmartin, of The Crown Inn, and Pete Johnson, of the White Bull, for the Parliamentary Pub Chef of the Year Award.

Both are extremely deserving candidates.

Emma has been highly praised for her tireless commitment and the introduction of her delicious food menu, which is now renowned within the local area.

Meanwhile, following a highly impressive 24 years of experience, Pete has won six awards within the White Bull, including ‘Best Turnaround’, since trading began last October.

Such awards are truly important, not only to pub chefs within the area but also to the local community.

It is fantastic to reward local talent and to see skilled individuals receive recognition for their hard work and dedication.

This award is the perfect way to promote our local hospitality industry, which is greatly important to the local economy. Graham Jones Hyndburn MP
