“We are the leading goalscorer­s and we have not scored more than three in a game which shows they are being shared out. We have got to strive to keep doing that.

“The important thing is the points per game ratio and the goal difference. If we keep a healthy positive goal difference we will be there or thereabout­s by the end of the season.

“That’s one of the first priorities. We are still missing chances but we are taking enough at the moment.”
