MR Michael Whittaker, of Cedar Street, Ac­cring­ton, died on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 3 aged 55.

Michael worked as an elec­tri­cian for most of his work­ing life. He was also a for­mer taxi driver in his younger days along­side elec­tri­cal work.

His hob­bies and in­ter­ests in­cluded so­cial­is­ing, watch­ing punk/rock bands and mu­sic. He en­joyed fish­ing in his younger days in the likes of Whitby.

He leaves daugh­ters Linzi, Hay­ley, Kim­ber­ley and Jes­sica, grand­chil­dren Hol­lie and Cole. Son of the late Keith, he leaves mum Mar­ian, sis­ters Lor­raine and Max­ine.

He also leaves aunty, un­cle, cousins and niece and neph­ews.

The fu­neral will take place on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 13 at 11am at Ac­cring­ton Cre­ma­to­rium of­fi­ci­ated by hu­man­ist Dave Ire­land.

A cel­e­bra­tion of his life/ wake will take place straight after, at the Po­plar so­cial club, Welling­ton Street, Ac­cring­ton.

Do­na­tions (in lieu of flow­ers) is pre­ferred for the Labrador Res­cue North West c/o Hyn­d­burn Fu­neral Ser­vices.
