TOILETS ARE NEEDED HERE

WHILE I like the new Accrington Bus Station, I can see a need for toilets near the Peel Street area of town.

I did not sign any petition because I did not see it doing the rounds.

To expect older people to go up to the lift in the Market Hall, is not really satisfacto­ry.

While I can see toilets may get more people in the Market Hall, I would feel it’s worse in the shops in the Peel Street, Abbey Street area of town.

It takes everything over to bus station, Arndale side.

I realise its cost to maintain and clean toilets, when money permits, later maybe.

It would be a good idea to re-open Peel Street toilets.
