HYNDBURN MP Graham Jones gave his seal of approval to the technological revolution that is transforming bus travel in Lancashire on the morning of Monday, November 6, when he travelled on well-known service 464 for a trip from Baxenden to Accrington Bus Station using one of the company’s popular Rosso SMART cards.

Commenting on the experience, Graham said “I found the transaction efficient and free from the hassle of having to fumble for change, it is good to see bus companies investing in modern technology and I am sure that Rosso SMART will encourage even more people to leave their car at home and use public transport.”

Phil Smith, managing director of rosso said “We were delighted that Graham could join us this morning, on one of our busiest services, to experience at first hand what more than 2,000 Rosso SMART card users are doing every week, when they buy our range of weekly and monthly rover tickets on board our bus routes that serve East Lancashire and Greater Manchester.”
