MUSIC NIGHT

AN Accringtonbased rock band will perform at the Town Hall Ballroom this Friday.

The Boutiques will play a mixture of diverse covers from artists such as Roxy Music, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Neil Diamond, and Jimi Hendrix as well as their own material.

The gig will take place on Friday, January 12 from 8pm until late and entry is free.

NSPCC EVENT

THE Hyndburn & Rossendale Branch of the NSPCC will hold a fundraising concert next month.

The Houghton Weavers will be in concert with the 2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band on Sunday, February 4 at 2.30pm.

It will take place at Accrington Town Hall, Blackburn Road, Accrington. Tickets £12.50 and there will also be a raffle.

CHURCH SALE

RISHTON Methodist Church will host a sale of second-hand items.

The January sale, over three days, will include good-asnew, bric-a-brac, DVDs, CDs, books, toys, soft furnishing, and clothes.

A preview evening with sale admission 20p will be held from 6.30pm to 8pm on Monday, January 29.

The sale will continue with free admission on Tuesday, January 30 from 2pm-6pm and on Wednesday, January 31 from 10am-4pm.

Refreshments will also be on sale.
