Stanley aces are honoured

STANLEY featured heavily in this year’s League Two end of season awards.

Manager John Coleman – who was expected to be named Manager of the Month for March today – was named top boss for guiding the club to the top of the division on one of the smallest budgets in the league.

And the League Two team of the year included Sean McConville and striker Billy Kee, who has been shortlisted for the division’s Player of the Year award.

He will be up against Mohamed Eisa (Cheltenham) and Adebayo Akinfenwa (Wycombe) at the awards ceremony to be held on April 15th.
