Accrington Observer - - ACCRINGTON PEOPLE - YVONNE ROBINS

HAWORTH Art Gallery is very pleased to welcome back the amazing Phil Knight on Sunday, April 22, who will be performing a set of Lancashire songs and poetry at 2pm in our music room.

Phil’s infectious humour and numerous anecdotes, poems and songs will keep you entertained whether you are ‘Leaning on a Lamppost’ or waiting for ‘The Blackpool Belle’.

This is a free concert, and no booking required.

But please be early to secure your seat. Refreshments may be purchased from the Gallery Kitchen and taken into the concert with you.

In addition, you can also tour the Tiffany glass collection which is along the first floor of the gallery.

Tiffany room 1 will soon be re-displayed to reflect the life and work of Joseph Briggs, the Accrington man who worked for Louis Comfort Tiffany and gave the glass to the people of Accrington. Details of this new development will be found on our Facebook.
