Stan­hill Vil­lage Fete:

This year’s Stan­hill Vil­lage Fete will be held at 2pm at West End Pri­mary School on Aspen Lane, Stan­hill, Oswaldtwistle. There are a wide range of tra­di­tional vil­lage fete ac­tiv­i­ties in­clud­ing a mu­si­cal en­ter­tain­ment, bouncy cas­tle, co­conut shy, chil­dren’s fancy dress com­pe­ti­tion and a range of stalls of­fer­ing re­fresh­ments and prizes. It is a re­ally great com­mu­nity oc­ca­sion and helps to raise a lot of money for lo­cal good causes. Guided Rail Ale Trail:

The tours in­clude an un­lim­ited travel ticket for the East Lan­cashire Rail­way, a Blue or Green Badge Guided Tour last­ing ap­prox­i­mately four to five hours, a bot­tle of ale or beer sam­pling and lunch. A group for those who want to learn how to sew or de­velop their hobby.
