Five men admit cocaine charges

FIVE Accrington men have pleaded guilty to drugs offences.

Samee Ahmed, 23, of Steiner Street, Accrington, plead guilty to possession with intent to supply of both cocaine and heroin at Preston Crown Court.

Michael James McPake, 35, of College Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply of cocaine and cannabis.

Yasser Ali, 29, of College Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Andrew George Taylor, 32, of Wilfred Street, Accrington, admitted one count of possession with intent to supply cocaine and one of intent to supply cannabis.

Qasab Ali, 25, of College Street, Accrington, admitted possession of cocaine and was handed a six-month conditiona­l discharge.

Charges of ‘conspiracy to supply a controlled drug to another’ against all the men were dropped. Ahmed, McPake, Yasser Ali and Taylor were told by Judge Beverley Lunt to prepare for custodial sentences. She granted them unconditio­nal bail and adjourned to obtain pre-sentence reports.
