Daystate has been busy working on some new variants of the innovative Pulsar. We’d seen prototypes of the synthetic stock version, which could soon have more options. The first is a set of replacement side panels with a carbon-fibre finish to add a custom look to your gun. The second is a full, carbonfibre finish over a synthetic stock, which looked dramatic. We can expect to see both items available from your nearest stockist in October, prices to be confirmed. While on their stand, I picked up sample tins of the new Kaiser pellets ready for test, and it’s clear that they’re made by H& N and based on an existing model. Daystate have put in a huge amount of time and energy, testing variants, until they settled on the one that perfectly matched the Lothar Walther barrels that they use. I’ll shoot them through my Daystates and well as other brands to see just how they perform.
