Pellet holder innovation

Air Gunner - - Your Letters -

I would like to let you know what I use as a pellet holder – a flexible rubber cable tie. They can be worn around the wrist or fixed on a belt loop. Each strap holds 40 pellets of either .177 or .22 calibre and the pellets are simply pushed through the back of the rubber tie. It’s handy to grab each individual pellet and gives you an easy view of how many you have left.

Hello John, I’m constantly impressed with the innovative ways that airgunners find to carry their pellets. Are these bands widely available on the high street? I had a quick look on line, and Amazon – for those who like to mail order – had them listed for lots of different uses, from tidying cables to securing shrubs. I note the packet says ‘as seen on Dragons Den’ which adds a little interest for me. Ed.
