Company on awards shortlist

A plant and engineering company with a depot in Airdrie has been shortlisted for a prestigious accolade.

Seddons Plant & Engineers Ltd is one of only three companies across the plant, tool and equipment hire industry to be shortlisted for the supplier of the year award.

The company, which has a base on Brownsburn industrial estate, is in the running for the award, announced by Hire Association Europe (HAE), the trade body with a membership base of 900 companies across the UK, Europe and worldwide.

The winner will be announced at the HAE Hire Awards of Excellence ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on April 22.

Independently judged by industry experts, the awards acknowledge the success of construction hirers and suppliers and are regarded as the most sought-after accolade within the plant, tool and equipment hire industries.
