Love n Light Recovery Organisation has received a lottery windfall.
The project, based at Pilgrim Church in Cairnhill, Airdrie, supports families who are affected by alcoholism and addiction.
It was awarded £75,000 from the Big Lottery Fund Scotland, which will allow the provision of a range of advice and links to other networks.
Peer education service Landed received £81,491 to recruit and train vulnerable young people to become peer educators and mentors.
Maureen McGinn, the chair of the Big Lottery Fund Scotland, said: “Each of these inspiring projects will assist people at the times when they need most support, providing them with the tools, confidence and skills to work towards a more positive future.”
