The cou­ple

Robert Stevenson, from Craigneuk, is a ware­house op­er­a­tive at Ar­gos, Euro­cen­tral and Jen­nifer Cook, from Chapel­hall, is study­ing child care at New Col­lege La­nark­shire.

Where they met

The cou­ple met at a lo­cal night club in Air­drie over three years ago and have been in­sep­a­ra­ble ever since.

The wed­ding

The wed­ding took place in Wil­low­bank House, Air­drie, and was at­tended by 40 close friends and fam­ily. This was fol­lowed by a re­cep­tion in Air­drie Work­ing Men’s Club, where a fur­ther 90 guests joined the cou­ple to dance the night away and cel­e­brate their big day.


The bride wore her late mum Gail’s beau­ti­ful gown al­tered by Pins and Nee­dles, Air­drie Mar­ket Square, while the groom wore a dark blue suit and li­lac tie from Mata­lan.

Bridal party

Jen­nifer’s brides­maids were her sis­ter Rowan and best friends Sam Hunter and Amy Mor­ri­son, while page boy was the cou­ple’s son Jackson.

Robert’s best man was his best friend Calum McLeod and the ush­ers were dad Kenny Laird, brother Paul and friends James and John Craw­ford.


The pho­tog­ra­pher was Dy­lon Khan Pho­tog­ra­phers, Green­gairs.


The flow­ers were ar­ranged by Coun­try Bas­kets.


The cake was from Marks and Spencer.


The cou­ple would like to thank their friends and fam­i­lies who went along and shared in their spe­cial day to make it a day to re­mem­ber, with spe­cial men­tion to Jen­nifer’s dad Lind­say who or­gan­ised the wed­ding and to all their departed close fam­ily who were in their thoughts.
