The wedding of Jennifer Cook and Robert Stevenson
Robert Stevenson, from Craigneuk, is a warehouse operative at Argos, Eurocentral and Jennifer Cook, from Chapelhall, is studying child care at New College Lanarkshire.
Where they met
The couple met at a local night club in Airdrie over three years ago and have been inseparable ever since.
The wedding took place in Willowbank House, Airdrie, and was attended by 40 close friends and family. This was followed by a reception in Airdrie Working Men’s Club, where a further 90 guests joined the couple to dance the night away and celebrate their big day.
The bride wore her late mum Gail’s beautiful gown altered by Pins and Needles, Airdrie Market Square, while the groom wore a dark blue suit and lilac tie from Matalan.
Jennifer’s bridesmaids were her sister Rowan and best friends Sam Hunter and Amy Morrison, while page boy was the couple’s son Jackson.
Robert’s best man was his best friend Calum McLeod and the ushers were dad Kenny Laird, brother Paul and friends James and John Crawford.

The flowers were arranged by Country Baskets.
The cake was from Marks and Spencer.
The couple would like to thank their friends and families who went along and shared in their special day to make it a day to remember, with special mention to Jennifer’s dad Lindsay who organised the wedding and to all their departed close family who were in their thoughts.
