Brew­ing up a storm for char­ity

Kind- hearted staff at an Air­drie firm got the ket­tle on and dug deep to do their bit for char­ity.

There were a few ex­tra trips to the bath­room re­quired at Beco­gent as the thirsty team in the Vic­to­ria Place­based busi­ness drank an as­tound­ing 950 cups of tea and cof­fee dur­ing a cof­fee morn­ing fundraiser.

Macmil­lan Can­cer Re­lief rep­re­sen­ta­tive Moira Dob­bie – pic­tured ( front) in the Oc­to­ber 23, 2002, Ad­ver­tiser – ac­cepted a £500 do­na­tion from the gen­er­ous Beco­gent team.
