Pete ready to rock crowds as mini-tour winds down
Pete MacLeod is ready to rock in Glasgow and Edinburgh as his hugely successful mini-tour comes to a close over the next month.
The talented Kirkwood musician has already shone on stage in Greenock and Cumbernauld and the next leg of his “EP Tour 2017”rolls on to The Duchess in Kirkcaldy this Friday night for a free gig in aid of charity the Teenage Cancer Trust.
From there, it’s off to the big cities for singer- songwriter Pete as he performs at Edinburgh’s La Bel Angele on October 13 and then The Classic Grand in Glasgow on October 28.
The latter show will mark the first time Pete has headlined a gig in Scotland’s capital and the rocker is excited at the prospect.
He told the Advertiser: “I am really looking forward to playing my first headline show in Edinburgh and this will also be the first time I have played in the capital since opening for Cast and, before that, Jesus and Mary Chain, which were both great gigs to be on the bill for with my music.
“I played solo acoustic then and now I go back with my band to play my own material. “It’s quite surreal.” To buy tickets for Pete’s “EP Tour 2017”shows, and find out further details on the venues and times, visit www.petemacleod.net
