Community council will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, November 14, at 7pm in the community centre. All are welcome to attend.

1st Clyde Scouts meet on Wednesdays at the St David’s and Plains primary schools’ campus. Beavers, for six- to eight-year-olds, runs from 6.15pm to 7.15pm; Cubs, for those aged eight to 10, is from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. The cost for both meetings is £2.50 and youngsters attending are asked to take soft shoes and a drink. Activities this term include the Space badge for Beavers, plus fishing, allotments and swimming.
